The IRS will be shutting down electronic filing on Nov 21 until January 2021

17 November 2020

This is a standard operating procedure for the IRS as they perform annual maintenance in order to prepare the system for the upcoming Tax Year 2020 Filing Season.

All returns after this date will have to be snail-mailed (until mid January, when e-filing re-opens).
